People will turn blue and die from too MUCH oxygen or too LITTLE oxygen but in two opposite ways. I think we all get the too-little-oxygen way. The too-much-oxygen way requires the expertise of your esteemed PCP physician, and works as follows: They force feed you pure oxygen (that you don't need) through a ventilator (that you don't need), causing you to HYPERVENTILATE. Hyperventilation causes CEREBRAL HYPOXIA because too much oxygen in the body causes your brain to shut down and you PASS OUT, so that you stop breathing until your oxygen drops to the correct level and you're fine again. The "problem" here is that the VENTILATOR does not allow you to stop breathing, so even though you are "passed out", the ventilator will not let you stop breathing (with pure O2 to boot), so that your brain not only shuts down, IT DIES... You see, your brain doesn't know why you keep on breathing thanks to your UNNEEDED VENTILATOR, so it keeps shutting down the BLOOD flow to the brain, TRYING TO STOP YOUR LUNGS FROM WORKING, but of course that can't happen cause of the vent! SO YOU DIE VIA PHYSICIAN-CAUSED CEREBRAL HYPOXIA AND BRAIN-DEATH. Now, in my wife's case, things get a lot more complicated, so complicated in fact, that it proves terrorism and murder by Rita's PCP, beyond any shadow of any doubt... You see, Rita's lungs were filled with fluid due to chronic cardiogenic pulmonary edema, intentionally left untreated, because if they had given her LASIX, Rita would have stood up and walked home...so they didn't. Now comes the complicated part, which proves premeditation... The doctors (at Hussaini's insistence) tried to kill Rita via the too-much-oxygen method described above. However, because she had much fluid in the lungs, when they added the pure oxygen to the unneeded ventilator, there was enough oxygen to make her appear somewhat comatose, but the fluid prevented enough oxygen from entering her body to completely shut off blood flow to her brain, so they could not kill her brain...So what to do?! Well they did MANY things, but let's just talk oxygen scam... During the first 2 weeks, doctors tried several times to get us to pull the plug on unneeded ventilator BECAUSE OF HER PROPOFOL DEPENDENCY... Why was she on Propofol? Well THAT scam is explained later. You see, if they "pulled the plug" at that point, Rita would actually have died, because the intentionally untreated fluid-in-the-lungs was getting worse and worse, as the pure oxygen along with the ventilator (ramped up to 18 BPM) would give her body just enough oxygen to survive... so pulling the plug at this point would cause quick death, as her lungs were by now a tank of water. ENTER THE AMA's 2-WEEK-TRACH-OR-NO-TRACH HOSPITAL RULE... Well so much for the QUICK overview...
